|
Mangifera indica, commonly known as mango, is a dominant fruit species in the Bhilwara district of Rajasthan, primarily found in cultivated land, mixed deciduous forests, and valley regions. By 2010, its distribution reflected both natural occurrence and extensive agricultural propagation, particularly in moist valleys and areas with suitable loamy soil. The analysis of its phytogeographical spread illustrates its adaptability to local environmental conditions and its significant role in the region's floristic composition and economy. |
